What a few weeks its been. Getting ready for returning to school and starting at UCD
Cannot wait but scared and nervous too. Will I be able to do all the work required and in the allotted times. How will I stay attentive at lectures and not wander off in my mind as I'm prone to do? Its going to be a tough few months and indeed years but I'm sure I'll get used to it as I go along. With the help of my access mates I'll gets lots of support and give a lot as well.
Its onwards and upwards from here on in. The last few days have been busy with a Writing Academy, registration, paying fees and choosing electives. Once thats all over its Orientation week and then............... lectures, seminars, assignments, essays, deadlines. Oh Dear!! :)
Namaste

Wet, Misty Kerry morning
Hi
Wednesday 3rd August already and over a week since we came down to Kerry.
The weather has been mixed, lots of sunshine, but also lots of mist and rain.
Dont mind though as I can still get out and walk with the dog or climb Bray Head
or meet up with carmel for a walk around the village 'the circuit or circle' we call it.
Today will be busy as 3 of my daughters friends are coming down on the train and bus to stay for a few days. Have to get some supplies in and make beds etc. so will be busier than usual.
Also have some friends coming down on Friday for the weekend so it will be hectic. Forsee muh eating out and plenty of liquid refreshment.
On Sunday last we went to the Beara Penninsula and visited Mizen Head, the most south westerly point in Ireland. It was beautiful and the sun shone all day. We went through all the lovely villages like Bantry, Glengariff, Schull, Goleen, as well as the kerry ones, Sneem and Kenmare. Had a lovely picnic outside Mizen Head Visitor Centre. On the way home stopped in Sneem for dinner, lovely chicken and bacon salad washed down with a Sauvignon Blanc. Bliss.
For now, Namaste.
